Good breakfast and good price/performance for a short stay. It wouldn't be the best for longer stays as it is not the most comfortable, but for a good night's sleep will do.

the room was very nice, well equipped, small kitchenette and an ironing board. I loved the small balcony and the fact that all windows can be opened for ventilation - I don´t like A/C and the Flag does not provide any. Good breakfast, fresh bread and fruit. Very nice, friendly and competent staff.

As the financial capital of Switzerland and headquarters of several large companies including FIFA, there’s a good chance that if you’re in Zurich you’re here on business. But that doesn’t mean this city doesn’t have a playful side.
Known for its cleanliness and fresh air, it comes as no surprise that the luxurious ski resorts of the Alps are within an easy distance of both the city and Zurich Airport, which is only a 12 minute drive from the city centre.
The centre is also a fast-growing cultural hub, packed with art galleries and museums. The Swiss history museum is called

Great walks around town, plenty of restaurants in Neiderdorf district near where we were staying, trams to everywhere just watch out for them as they do not give way, art galleries were wonderful. You have to remember it is another city so more overwhelming than the countryside villages.

Zurich is a small city and easy to get around by tram and bus. The hotel was in walking distance of the Zurich lake. Nice cafés along the lake but expensive. Some cafés charge £6.00 for a coffee. The restaurants in the supermarkets are the cheapest. Food not very imaginative, up market restaurants very expensive. The service isn’t very good waiters are not trained properly. Allowing dogs in cafés and restaurants should not be allowed.

Lovely place but ridiculously expensive meaning poor value.
Lovely place but ridiculously expensive meaning poor value. Our hotel was terrible which really tarnished our view of Zurich in general. We should have stayed in France and just come in on a day trip.

Zurich is a beautiful lake city and many great locales are within reach. You can visit Jungfraujoch, Mt. Titlis, Mt. Pilatus, Lucerne, Heidiland. One can also visit the Rhine Falls and neighboring countries such as Germany and Liechtenstein. There are many convenient day trips from Zurich by coach. You get good food everywhere. Uber rides offer value for money. Train station is in the heart of town.

This was an overnight stop only as part of trip to Budapest.
The hotel was of a good standard with modern , clean bedroom.
Bar area is open to residents only on 24 hour basis if you have a mind . Bar was not noisy or disruptive.
Breakfast was good continental fayre with plenty of selection.
Would recommend on my experience.
Super Staff who try to help. My favorite was Kay-Sivan, he was extra helpful, friendly and kind. Max was great too, as well as a Lady who worked at the desk who's name I don't remember.
You take the S6 ( train) from platform 41/42 at main station in Zurich, and it takes you to Affoltern, not hard at all to get there, then just a short walk up to the Hotel like 3 short blocks worth.
Good price for a shower and toilet in your room. Affoltern is a bit lower than downtown Zurich and the air quality is better as well.
I had a fantastic experience at Motel One Zürich! The hotel's location, just a 10-minute walk from Bahnhofstrasse, was incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The room was comfy and well-appointed, ensuring a restful stay. To top it off, they even arranged a taxi for us from the airport, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, our stay was lovely, and I couldn't find anything to complain about. I would definitely recommend Motel One Zürich to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city.
Convenient location; only a short walk from the Zurich main railway station. Note that the train travels frequently between the airport and the main railway station and, as such, it is an easy and short trip to access the hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff members at the hotel. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. Compared to other hotels in Zurich, this hotel represented good value for money. We would stay at this hotel again.
The bedroom was very large and there was plenty of space. The bathroom was also a good size. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. Everything was very clean.
The breakfasts were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location is outside of the city centre but it is feasible because two trams stop very near the hotel and go to the centre of town. One of them is the No. 10 tram which is a short ride to Kloten Airport.
Very cute hotel in a area of Zurich, was alot like Greenwich village ny. Many resturants of all flavors within walking distance. Also a Starbucks across the street. Close enough to train station and airport. I only did a 1 night layover and was very nice for that pupose.please note, the room was on the small side, and the city being a happening part of town it was a bit noisy. Room was beautiful well appointed and very comfortable.
Everything in Switzerland is expensive. This is the cheapest I could find without sacrificing comfort and experience. We've stayed in quite a few Meininger hotels in other European cities, this is by far the best. What we liked about Meininger Zürich versus other Meininger hotesl: check in and out was smooth, parking area has direct access to the hotel, parking spaces are wide (we really liked it because we brought a 7-seater).
The hotel is located on the top of a mountain or you call it a hill. We called the hotel to pick up our heavy luggage from the bus station, which is a right decision. The hotel has a best view of Zurich city. The view itself worth your money. We have breakfast included. The breakfast is the best - coffee, tea, bread, cheese, eggs, bacon, fruits, yogurt, milk, ham - everything you could imagine. The staff is very friendly.
This is a good little aparthotel to spend a few days in Zurich and visit other cities in Switzerland, like Bern and Luzern. Limmatplatz is not far from the hotel and from there you can take the tram to the train station, the lake and the city center (number 4 takes you to the East side of the lake and number 13 takes you to Bahnhofstrasse and from that stop you can go to the airport directly).
The location is too good. I recommend the word echo especially for young people who visit Zurich for good fun and evening out. Interesting bars with good music and entertainment are literally under your window. The hotel is located in the downtown area do not spend money on expensive public transport that you do not need. The best points for the receptionists, charismatic and friendly.
Good location near train station, tram access to airport. Felt safe, in the neighborhood. Construction outside but navigable and not noisy in room. It's a budget hotel with worn amenities but great for a short stay in very expensive Zurich. We stayed left bags 2days and returned 1 night. Made our train tour easy.
The breakfast was reasonably priced and the host was exceptional.
Very accommodating friendly& straightforward receptionist , it’s in City centre , from zurich airport take. Tram Number 10 (HB) and stop at Central tram station then from there take number 4 tram stop at belevieu ( only to 2 stops from there ) then that’s the hotel , close to the lake and lots of restaurant around its in perfect location.
It's the cheapest hotel with decent sized rooms, cleanliness and service in "downtown" Zürich, so this is why I picked it. Otherwise you either have either massively overpay (if travelling on a budget) or stay in a room the size of a cupboard in Altstadt on the other side of the river.
Excellent hotel in Zurich city centre, in the old town, very close to all attractions and walking distance from the train station. The decor of the hotel is modern and the room we stayed was spacious and nice. Very nice staff and very good ratio quality/price, especially for Zurich.
The reception staff was very helpful and English assistance was available.
I think we would recommend this hotel as the cost is fairly reasonable in Zurich and the access to the downtown and public transportations are very easy.
The hotel is located right by the number 10 tram which goes directly to Zurich airport and the main train station. It’s on a quiet street. The staff are really amazing, kind, friendly, and hardworking.
Hotel location close to train station (5 mins walk), restaurants/cafes, supermarket & attractions
Central tram station located opposite the hotel. Tram #10 to Zürich airport
proximity to Zurich HB, Bahnhofstrasse, restaurants, and that it is located in Old Town. The Swiss Chuchi restaurant attached to the hotel is some of the best food.
This is a simple, but very good hotel in the best possible location. Perfectly clean, quiet, extremely central. All in all, a very good solution in Zurich.
