I had lived in Bangkok for > 10 years, and chose Bangna due to it's easy connection to the airport, good facilities and transport links to the city centre. This stay was at the end of a 3 week road trip covering 3000km. Next time I would plan to stay a few more days in Bangna.

Bangna area was disappointing. we chose to stay in Bangna to explor a part of BKK ive never been. But there is nothing in Bangna worth seeing. not an area for tourists. though easy access to Suvunnaphum airport. (30Mins taxi )

Not a tourist area. No rail service near the hotel (yet.) Streets are very quiet and clean. Nice Department stores nearby. Otherwise you need a cab to get anywhere. Airport about 1/2 hour. Shangri-La and Chao Praya about 40 minutes on expressway in quiet times. No ugly tourist traps (you should know what I mean.)

I tried few other hotels but the friendly approach by the host and the systematic facilities has made me think why didn't I try all of my days of visit in the same hotel. Onlly thing is, that it is a little far from the city and the airport but that's mangeable.

The hotel provides a convenient shuttle service to and from the airport taking about 25 minutes. The suites are very spacious and excellent value for money. I would have enjoyed staying a few extra days to play the golf course.
