Patong is certainly a place for thrill-seekers.
Patong is certainly a place for thrill-seekers. Full of people, sometimes noisy, and if you make an effort, it's also beautiful and local. People there are so lovely! Will be back again hopefully October! But I’m not sure about same hotel! Because when I was there is no swimming pool! Not too busy during the day/night time out of season There is a lifeguard on duty during the day but you MUST observe the flag system. I think it's a very important and excellent safety feature. I think people generally overspill from banglar road which is like a circus. My head was spinning once I reached one side. A lot of observers walking through like it's a red light district in Amsterdam. I went into the New York bar/club who, put on a great performance with local bands. Lots to do, lots to eat and drink. Lots of ppl if you like a buzzing atmosphere most day's but can become too much. Overall. A beautiful stunning beach where you can watch the sunset, fly, jetski, book a ride, tour, lounge and eat. It pretty much has everything! If you want peace and quiet. There's plenty to choose from just up or down the road.

I enjoyed my stay in the Patong area, but I much prefer the beach at Kata. There is plenty to do at night especially if you enjoy live music. Had a great night at the Irish Bar opposite the beach. If you are looking for well priced authentic Thai food you have to venture away from the main area, otherwise I found it's more for the tourist. I was lucky enough to spend time with a local to show me around & get to experience the real thing.

Its probably only once or twice during your travels that you stay at a hotel that just makes you go “wow this is just awesome I love it here and don’t ever want to leave” Patong Heights is one such place No airs no graces they just deliver what you want when you want it It all starts with the people - you will not find find better people in any other hotel - don’t care if you at the Ritz Carlton reading this - the guys at Patong Heights are better and make you feel really really welcome 🙏 Jeff and Vivien Sa and Phuw and Zor - et al keep on doing what you’re doing cos you’re doing great - one example is how they kept me the same table every night without asking as they knew I liked it The rooms are excellent Food is excellent The view is excellent It’s a little out ot town up the hill which some people have commented on but its only like a £4 or $5 taxi fare plus they have a shuttle bus 4 times a day to and from town Do go just to enjoy Patong and see for yourselves that these guys are awesome You deserve to stay here and experience this I hope I will again soonIanQatar - 8.0Scored 8.0

Very lively and animated beach. Tons of water activities to choose from. Have a large variety of restaurants, pubs and not to mention the famous Bangla Road - known for it's night life. Not to miss the "Kan's haus cafe and bistro" for its delicious food.

It costs 131 Euros for two nights in the pictured room called 'with balcony'. The room is on the ground floor (from window views) and there is only a wall facing directly to the window and balcony. I asked times to the reception staff to swap but the staff is unfriendly and unhelpful (but housekeepers are good in here). It is a subversive hotel of your promising trip in Phuket and Thailand. They were able to get both beach front rooms next to each other which I appreciated. it was easy to get a lounge bed but the chairs and umbrellas blocked our view. also we weren’t sure if the chairs and umbrellas were part of the hotel. they also were able to get an early check in, in one room. If you don’t like loudish dance/house music then I probably wouldn’t stay here. it didn’t bother us and we were all able to relax and read books on the beach.
