The ospitality of the staff was excellent. I was amazed by how they handled one of my requests.I had a room for one person. Everything was clean. Every day, they cleaned up. The food at the restaurant was very good. They don't have shower gel or shampoo, but this wasn't a problem, as I knew it from other reviews. I really recommend the hotel for a low-budget trip.

Staff was absolutely top notch. So close to the ferries (about 2 minutes) and best place to stay on a budget. Would definitely be up for staying there again even if money wasn't an issue!

Absolutely authentic experience of a small village at the Como lake - I felt myself totally like visiting an old Italian relative in a weekend house Don't expect the hotel-chain-like comfort and utilities, but an astonishing view from the window, narrow old streets covered with stone, locals enjoying coffee or wine by the table next to you, and so on

worth it for the money. Nice budget hotel just to the downtown as well as the train station.

Good place to stay, if you have low budget. Customer service is great and they have different events for their customers, like beerbong.

The budget room was on the top floor, I banged my head on a low beam at the top of the stairs and I am only 170 cms. The room was an attic, so the roof sloped and you had to be careful of bumping your head. Only one side window so little natural light and had to be reached with care. I think it is too dangerous to be rented, it certainly wouldn't be cleared here in Australia. Just take it off the site, I didn't see the other rooms, David McCann

Lake Como hostel is wonderfully positioned by the lake with stunning views, within walking distance to the ferry and town. Friendly, helpful reception, bar, and restaurant staff, who provide a great service, with a solid menu for the budget conscious.

It was nice to stay in a family type hotel instead of an impersonal chain place. It was attractive, clean, with a good breakfast, good water pressure and hot water. The small town was charming, and the mountain views impressive. But the outstanding quality was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, he seemed to be the manager, who did everything he could for us, from coming to get us in the parking lot, to finding a wheelchair, to getting us pizza when I was too tired to go out for it. I cant thank him or praise him enough.
