Hotel rooms are good, as expected of Holiday Inn Express chain. It is a great location especially if you're planning day trips out, with easy bus access.

Location - very near to Taichung train station and next to Miyahara. Budget hotel which is decent and serves the purpose.

The hotel is in a quieter street in Xitun district, not far from bus stop that connects it to Taichung HSR Station. If you're taking bus 160, I recommend getting on/off at stop Jifu Tang because it's less crowded there. The cheapest budget room is very small, not much space for luggage, but the bed is spacious enough, and the bathroom is very clean and comfy. I liked the free washing machine on the balcony. The hotel was a bit tricky to find, but the staff was helpful in giving additional directions.

The overall vibe is above and beyond many 5* chain hotels. The bed, the toiletries, the cleanliness, simply gives an impression that there is a no compromise management running behind. Their breakfast buffet is legendary. Forget about dieting when you enter the breakfast hall. Besides, you probably won't be able to complete the entire buffet offering in one seating.

Great budget hotel with spacious quadruple room. The bathroom is bright and clean. It was a comfortable stay. Very near to fengjia night market. easy to find eateries, laundry nearby.
