I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Comic Art Hotel in Ghent, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere that perfectly blends artistic flair with a cozy, welcoming vibe. The decor is truly a highlight, featuring incredible comic art that adds a unique charm to every corner of the hotel. Each room is thoughtfully designed, creating a fun and playful environment that feels both comfortable and inspiring. I especially appreciated the attention to detail—everything from the quirky wall art to the neatly placed amenities made my stay feel special. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. They were not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Their enthusiasm for the city and the hotel really enhanced my experience. Additionally, the hotel’s location is perfect. It’s within walking distance of many of Ghent’s top sights, making it easy to explore the city. Me and my girlfriend loved wandering through the nearby streets, discovering charming cafes and beautiful architecture. Overall, I highly recommend the Comic Art Hotel to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable stay in Ghent. Nele is a fantastic host and she kindly showed us around the apartment and how to use the gate and door codes. This apartment is super convenient, here is a Spar and Carrefour just outside the apartment, there is a tram ticket machine and stops just outside as well. The location is slap bang in the middle the road which goes from historic centre of town to the train station and was super convenient for getting around and getting to the airport as well. Ghent is lovely, nice cafes, shops and loads there for history buffs as well plus we went to Bruges one day as well, half an hour by train. The apartment was cosy and clean and top notch.
