ThailandUpon arrival I was delighted to meet with Len and later on Sheryll at the front desk, they were so warm and welcoming went out of their way to make me feel like a VIP guest. This was so unexpected, there was a personal touch to how they attended to me that I do not believe I have ever encountered before anywhere. Sheila and I talked at each time we met and I was delighted to feel like we were on a friends basis when I left.
The breakfast at Pomeroy Chetwynd is the best breakfast experience I have ever encountered during my many years of extensive international travel. I was made to feel like family by the attending staff. Miss Sheila and Miss Joyce were absolutely wonderful, what a credit they both are to the hotel. I was not expecting such an array of breakfast choices but to each day there were new choices which were of the highest standard. From breakfast sausage, crispy bacon, hash browns, varied egg styles to a bread buffet, all day Tim Hortons and house blend coffee to the absolute best fresh orange juice you can imagine. The food was absolutely delicious. Miss sheila and Miss Joyce even took the time to ask me which foods I liked and let me know that the next day they would be preparing their special breakfast burritos and they welcomed me to come to enjoy the new food option. Wow, incredible service and sophisticated approach to welcoming all guests in the breakfast room.
I also had the pleasure of meeting with Miss Lee at breakfast before she ventured up to housekeeping. Lee is just an incredible soul and likely a reason for everyone who meets her to return to The Pomeroy Chetwynd. Lee shared many a morning chat with my myself and my guest Suzanne and we both found a friend in her. On my next visit to Chetwynd I would be thrilled to meet with Lee at her home and go visit her horses and beehives. Lee is just wonderful. What a credit to the hotel. Mickeyla was a sweetheart, tending to my room. Every staff member made my stay genuinely wonderful.
