Mustafa the host puts a lot of care into the facilities of the accommodation and towards the guests. The room was perfect and the bathroom was large. He has a shop on site. He organised an Abu Simbel trip for me and sailed me to the pick up point and then took care of arranging drop off points for another hotel I'd previously booked. He also showed me around the area and made me feel at home as I was solo travelling.

I like the staff. They are extremely professional and friendly at the same time. They remember me every time and i find my favourite room booked for me without even calling them. Excptional treatment from Mr. Wael and his colleagues. Very accommodating and you feel that you are surrwith friends and family members. The breakfast is tasty and chefs are serving staff are helpfull. House keeping team are doing great and silent so you will never notice there physical presence but you will see the effect.

Wonderful and real experience in a Nubian village. Directly in front of the Nile, this guest house has as major advantage Amgad's hospitality. Anything may be resolved with a honest smile, such a great and hard working person. However, you need to be open minded about it, as you will be sleeping in a very humble and basic island, and so are the facilities. Nevertheless, there so much more to see that these detais, such as a doorless private bathroom, doesn't really mater.

Highly recommend this Elephantine Island hotel for its spectacular Nile views. Reserve a full day to enjoy the property and take evening walks around the island—you won't regret it. Staff service was excellent and rooms were modern. Note: The hotel has two buildings with different designs; request the newer section for more contemporary styling if preferred. The property was beautiful. The style and attention to detail of the buildings is fabulous. You are lying by the pool watching the Nile and all its activities flow by. Food is very good and the coffee excellent! A completely relaxing spa like environment but in an organic way. Highly recommend to any visitors to Aswan.
