Excellent hotel right by the Race track as well as (more importantly for us!) being very close to the Chemin de Compostelle. The facilities were first class, ultra clean, spacious everywhere with plenty of communal areas inside and out to relax. Our room similarly was large, bright and cool despite the heat outside: our room was very quiet, the outside pool area was opposite but you couldn't hear a thing. The hotel style is a succesful blend of traditional & modern both in building style and hospitality. Staff were all couteous, helpful and friendly. Unfair to pick out anybody but the restaurant staff lunchtime and evening were lovely. The restaurant itself was top class with a great varied menu & was good value. This really is a delightful hotel, a great stop.

The apartment is very spacious, clean and well presented. The kitchen is very well appointed with modern appliances making it perfect for us to cook each night during our long stay. Having a large supermarket within easy walking distance was also a huge plus. The management is very professional, providing a helpful video to assist with the check in procedures.

Fortunately for us the owner of the property was there, he can communicate in English. He went out of the way to help us and make us comfortable. He along with his colleague Angelica treated us like their own. The room was like an apartment with stairs to go on top. The apartment has a kitchen, bedroom, big bathroom and living room. If you observe everything including the paint, artifacts and furniture are chosen to go with a theme. Everything has been kept with lot of emotions and love. It can be felt... The owner will come twice a day to ensure we are Good and not facing any issue. He was very kind to ensure we are taken care during the entire time of stay. He had to leave for his home a day earlier to our departure but he ensured the staff takes care of us till the time we leave. They ensured we enjoyed our stay at Nevers. They arranged taxi, made reservations for us at the local French cuisine. They also guided us to nearby grocery. We bought groceries for us and cooked at the apartment kitchen. The utensils were cleaned and kept in an organized manner. Our objective was to spend good time in France country side and trust we could enjoy each seconds of our stay. We went to local vi eyard at Saucere. It was very emotional for me to leave the place may be because we did lot of things that we planned. Vacation is all about spending quality time with family and we could achieve thanks to the host and his team. Out of the entire trip I belive the days we spent at Never was best.... Only A minute from the auto route, everything was clean, spacious, lovely view, out of huge window, lady on reception was very nice. For the price, and what you expect, it was excellent
