The host, Luzzane and Duncan, and all staff were accommodating and excellent and went beyond to ensure the stay was enjoyable. The food was fantastic and the location was quiet but very accessible to Lochness and Inverness. Very quaint building with a nice bar. Highly recommend this place.

Exceptional view. A bit far from downtown Inverness but if you got a car, it's definitely worth the detour. Room was very quiet as there is nothing around except the waterfront. Breakfast (not buffet, but a variety of choices from the house menu) was the best Scottish dish I ever had.

The suite was lovely and spacious. There was tea,coffe, hot chocolate and biscuits n the room. The receptionist and all the staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming. The food at the restaurant was very well presented and of very good quality. My daughter found a card with a sweet message from the turn down service team next to her little bunny and bear which were tucked in the bed covered with little blankets made of tissue paper! How sweet! Thank you for this memorable stay!

We left for the airport very early in the morning. The staff provided a very nice breakfast pack.

Amazing place. The house was built in 1823 and you can feel it in the atmosphere of the place. It's not only about it's age, but most of all about the great renovation work that was done by the new owners since 2003. It's a great story - you can read it in the materials you will find in your room. Basically, it's a XIX century palace that was magically transferred to year 2023 (and fitted with plumbing and electricity). Most importantly, the staff was exceptionally friendly. The night manager that checked us in when we were late after a 4-hour whale boat trip was just amazing. I should have asked about his name...

Garry was always checking in to make sure we found the house, were happy with the house, if we slept well did we need anything etc. Nothing felt like a bother and we knew we could get in touch if we needed anything. The house was perfect for a family of 5 adults, 4 children and a baby and there was still an empty bedroom. Plenty of toilets and showers so no queues and the kids loved the huge space to let off steam playing hide n seek 🤣. Lovely and warm with plenty hot water and a very well equiped kitchen with dining table, washing machine and dishwasher. There is parking for 2 cars off street parking but its very tight and kids had to get out and unpack cars before parking but we had 3 cars and with a bit of forward thinking we made it work. We had disabled badges in 2 cars so we could park on the double yellow lines with 1 car that said there seemed to be parking outwith the permit only spaces around the area if needed. It was in a quiet location within walking distance to shops, pubs etc. We used deliveroo for takeaways and there was no huge delay or problem finding the house for them. We will be staying again for sure
