The staff were great, very polite and friendly and helpful. The restaurants in the premises are very good too and a convenient option to have. The tea coffee facility in the room was a Great too. They also have a tours office which makes sightseeing very easy. The greenery around the hotel was very pleasing too. The bathroom fixtures could be refreshed. It wasn't an issue for me. Couldn't open the curtains as the room overlooked a very dusty and rubbish strewn side lane. Lots of stray dogs fighting in the lane also woke me up a couple of times at night.

Beautiful location in the private park, everything as in 1940s, bathroom was well renovated, very good bed, very clean, park was immaculately maintained as well as the house, very nice restaurant, very quiet at night. Very nice and helpful staff.

The location is very close to the Hampi ruins and it’s great because you can save time in travel to the sights and easily come back for a meal or rest. The food is outstanding and the buffet dishes are changed daily. The spread is very generous and all the food is incredibly tasty. I also enjoyed a few delicious and very reasonably priced cocktails. The grounds are leafy and well tended and our room was huge and well-appointed. The AC is strong and there is excellent water pressure in the shower. The staff are lovely and it’s so commendable that Mr. Prasana and Madam Sathya employ so many of the local villagers to give them real opportunities to better themselves and uplift their families. If you want to augment your experience in Hampi I highly recommend doing a sunrise hike or bird watching walk or any other nature activity with Mr. Chandrasekhar the hotel’s in house naturalist… Mr. Chandrasekhar is passionate and knowledgeable about the natural environment and you will have an experience that is really special in this stunning and unique area. The hotel also provides fresh sugar cane juice!!!! Squeezed to order…. I don’t think you can visit Hampi without sampling their delicious sugarcane that is their local crop.

Breakfast was adequate and served by a very obliging waiter named Govind. He did all he could to make teh experience memorable. The ambience was excellent and very calming. Beautifully landscaped, with lots of birdsong.

A place calm, peaceful and relaxing. The location is magnificent, in the beautiful village of Anegundi very close to Hampi. Perfect rooms, clean bathrooms and welcoming common areas. Sinaj and all the staff are very kind, friendly and joyful. They helped and advised us during our all stay. Archana Guest House is a family owned place with a restaurant with stunning view over the river and the rocks. The food is home cocked wholesome and the family who runners it are kind and helpful in everything you would need. I will definitely come back next time. Highly recommended!
