Beautifully designed, spacious rooms. The automated check-in and check-out makes it very easy to arrive and leave the property any time. There was a coffee machine with capsules in the room, very nice touch. Black outs worked perfectly. The hotel is situated just outside of the main part of Akureyri but if you have a car it’s really not a problem and in exchange the views are amazing. You can park you car right outside at the terrace of each room so it’s very easy to move heavy luggage in and out.

the room was really comfortable and the shared kitchen was excellent. There were big windows in the room and the location is excellent; close to coffee shops, bookstores, restaurants and the central church.

The staff were lovely, and the room was clean and comfortable. Just across the street there was a restaurant and a bookstore/cafe that made it easy to get dinner and relax. In the morning we walked about a block to a a bakery for breakfast.
