Private room with lots of space. There was a dinner available in the main hall and it was delicious! The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.

The breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable. Everything was clean. Wifi was very good. The location was perfect since we would like to start the day visiting the Reynisfjara Beach.

Super nice hotel close enough to Vik to get to the village in less than 10 min by car, but not too close, so it was really dark at night and perfect for looking for auroras. Nice and clean, perfect room for a couple of days stay. We could hear the people from the rooms next to us when they were on the hallway but not inside the room, so it was quiet during night. We are going to stay again for sure when coming back to Iceland!

Amazing location with beautiful walks on your doorstep. I told the kitchen I was vegan and they made the most beautiful chilli and salad (better than most restaurant food I had in Iceland). Hot pools, sauna and outdoor showers were an added bonus. The staff at reception were super friendly and gave us great advice/recommendations on local walks.

This guest house is 20 km from Vík and 1.5 km off the Route 1 Ring Road. Wi-Fi and parking are free. All rooms have a view of Pétursey Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.
