I decided at short notice to book accommodation there. Wow, I don't regret it. The hotel manager's reception was so friendly. Also that of the other staff. The hot tub is great. And I have to mention the dinner. Probably the best restaurant I've ever been to. For the starter, I had chicken soup and for the main course, cod's cheek. I highly recommend this remote place 100%. Don't forget the view over Breiðafjörður. I look forward to coming back there.

Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable, and a great place to spot the northern lights. We saw them 2 out of 3 nights right from outside the hotel door!
