Awesome hotel. Breakfast was great with some variations. It's located at the JR Kokura station, which is ideal for visiting various places and of course, the conference centre where I went for work.

Only a 5-minute walk from JR Kokura Station south exit, the Nishitetsu Inn Kokura features comfortable rooms, hot public baths and a sauna.

Definitely exceeded expectations. Nishitetsu was within walking distance of Kokura train station. The onsen won us over. It had a hot pool, cold pool and sauna. Also walking distance to Kokura castle and a whole alley of restaurants. We did a day-trip to Mojiko to visit the Karato seafood market since accommodations were more affordable in Kokura. Bonus: THERE IS MISTER DONUT AT THE STATION!! lol

The views of the sea crashing into the hotel were superb, both in the room and dining hall. Onsen was great, and breakfast was also good. Good lighting and facilities in the room.

We booked Daiwa Roynet because we like their hotels. This one is just as good as what we have experienced in other cities. Clean, comfortable, very helpful staff. We were initially put in a room right below the smoking floor. The cigarette smell was too strong. They immediately arranged for a lower floor room away from the smoke. Love that their bathrooms are big by Japanese standards. Rain shower is excellent. Coin operated washing machine and dryer is a plus.
