We spend 2 nights in this very special hotel. The host is charismatic persone, it was a big pleasure to speak with him. He build the rooms around a three - the fantastic artwork. The hotel is close to the Yale park, many animals come but it is safe and quiet. The food was beter than excellent. The host organized for us 5 hrs safari in Yale park. One evening he showed us the prayers in Kateragama temples - fantastic. Last day he drove us to the bus station free of charge. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Great service, the staff was very helpful and friendly. They picked us up at the bus station for free when it was heavy raining. They showed us crocodiles, birds, fruit bats and buffalos around the area again for free. So, when you need to go somewhere they will get you there. We also played carrom with the staff. Amazing property at a beautiful lake. Very nice getaway from the busier places in Sri Lanka. Nothing better then waking up to birds singing. The Staff is phenomenal and super friendly. We had the most magnificent stay at Hilton Yala. Everything was perfect. You could really see that the hotel was newly built, everything in the room was perfect and designed to perfection and the rooms are very spacious. The personal was also super helpful and very friendly and catered all of our wishes. We even had the chance to see an elephant only a few meters away while we were laying on the pool and he entered the property which was amazing! Would definitely go back immeadiately.
