Nimeshikha is a wonderful, kind host. Staying in this hostel feels like a genuine cultural experience as you feel part of the family and the two little children are always running around and wanting to interact with you. Nimeshikha serves a delicious breakfast every day and she has her restaurant on site if you wish to eat lunch or dinner! My top tip: don't book any tours on Getyourguide as Nimeshikha's husband can arrange everything at a cheaper price! I arrived in Sigiriya with no plan, but the two hosts were able to advise me and help me organise everything. I extended my stay by two more nights and had three beautiful days exploring Sigiriya and nearby sites. A big thank you to Nimeshikha and Nuwan!

I loved this place! I stayed for 5 days. It was clean, and the pool was great. I ate at their restaurant once, and the food was very good. I needed to work online, and they made sure I had a good internet connection. It wasn’t super strong (nowhere in Sri Lanka is), but for the country, it was quite good and sufficient for working. I also had fresh water every day and was pleasantly surprised by the hot water pressure in the shower. Even though there weren’t many mosquitoes, they still provided an anti-mosquito product, which was a nice touch. But the best part? The owners. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Thank you so much!

I had the most wonderful time at Sigiriya Palace View due to the 200% hospitality of Suriya and his lovely wife. They do their utmost to help you with everything and explain many things about the environment. They will help you to decide what you want to do. For me it was one relaxing afternoon in their garden, and the next day I went to the Dambulla cave temple which they arranged by their own tuktuk. In the afternoon, I did a very nice safari to Eco park and saw so many elephants. Also, the breakfast is very good and big and the dinner cooked were so delicious! The room is spacious and very new. In a few weeks, they will have another two rooms ready upstairs as well. You have a beautiful view at Sigiriya Rock. Area is nice and peaceful, also the city of Sigiriya is so small and quiet. I can only recommend this place 100%. Hope to come back sometime….

this homestay is exceptional Anura and his wife are wonderful nothing is too much trouble. as a solo female traveller it is very safe, set back from the man road into Sigiriya only an easy 10 minute stroll to both Lion Rock and the small village and safe from the wild elephants. local shops are a 3 minute walk to breakfast is huge and they are happy to cook for you also Anura also has a tuk tuk taxi so getting around to other areas is also easy and cheap the room is amazing both beds with proper mosquito nets, lovely linen and memory foam pillows the bathroom is huge with 2 power showers one rainfall and always hot water the WiFi is also very good the whole place is spotless and the resident dog Leon and cat Kitty are super friendly if you like animals if not Anura will keep them away

Very beautiful cabin with a breathtaking view on the Lion’s rock. The room is very cute and is full comfort. Owner is very nice and happy to provide good advices on local things to visit (he’s also a tour guide). Quality/price ratio is unbeatable !

The room was quite spacious. Breakfast was abundant, almost too much for a woman of my age. Actually I wasn't well physically due to fever, coughing. They took it serious and helped me with many ways such as extra bedding, tea etc. I asked them if they could prepare dinner (paid) to which they have willingly served me with delicious one. Yohan, his parents and brother are so kind that I recommend people to stay there if you plan to go to Sigiriya.
