Loved the homey comfortable vibe and the feeling of family and community that comes with staying in a place with communal cooking and hang out areas etc .. met some wonderful people and the location and facilities were top notch!!! Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed in, all the rooms are different and this was on the third floor with a palm tree growing through it …. Great attention to detail

It is a very beautiful place not far away from the beach and the main street. The staff was very kind as well. The rooms are clean, big, and come with all necessary equipment. Our favorite part was the heated pool tho!

Avela Hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was kind and attentive, the breakfast was delicious. When on the hotel property, it felt like a high end resorts. The property is located a about .5 miles from downtown Sayulita, which to me was great. We rented a golf cart and had no problem getting to and from the beach when we wanted to.

Beautiful property. Very well maintained and managed by Martin. A little haven in Sayulita, close to the centre but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this property. The rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable and kitchenette well equipped.

Location is excellent! Breakfast was good but got old after a few days, I think one or two more options for the menu would help with people getting bored of the same things. Having water in the lobby was wonderful. I think having another option for a water down by the snack bar, especially for breakfast would be good.
