The studio was excellent, and met all of our expectations. Very close to the center of town. The view of the lake was spectacular. We enjoyed our stay there very much, and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family

We loved everything about this motel! The staff were friendly, everything was clean and well equipped, the view from our room was amazing with just a short walk from the room to the lake. We would definitely be coming back if we are ever in Te Anau again.

Small thoughtful details in the room. The heated pad for duvet was a nice touch as it was really cold in Te Anau when we stayed there. The free room upgrade was also a lovely surprise to us.

Alpine View Motel was one of the first motels built in Te Anau approximately 50 years ago. It features accommodation with mountain views. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Comfortable place, everything was nice and clean. We loved the unlimited shower (if you are a backpacker, this is all what you want and need :D). Kitchen and common area was small but comfy - we were there out of main season, so it was not crowded. We have been staying in our car so I cant say anything about the cottages :).
