Cleverly designed and built so that visitors can wake and see - from their beds - beautiful views all around, including the nearby field of alpacas! All the facilities are stylish and high spec, and everything is pristine clean. If you’re able to get up around 7.30/8am, you can help Neil feed the family’s alpacas and goats. And there are fantail birds filling the pine trees by the room pods, and fully grown (and still alive) kauri trees on the farm; it’s very special here.

The staff were very friemdly & helpfull. The unit had everthing including a tv in the bedroom. The bed was firm but comfy, there was also plenty of parking outside front of the unit. The bonus was the owner had two cats & a dog which loved spending time with the guests.

Waihi Motel is located in the heart of Waihi town centre, within 100 metres of various shops, cafes and restaurants. It offers barbecue facilities and free WiFi access.

Very courteous, helpful owners. The beds were comfortable with those superb 'Hotel' sheets and cases. Shower good pressure, roomy living room, very clean all round and plenty of opening windows.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, SilverSands is located in Waihi Beach. The property has inner courtyard views, and is 200 metres from Waihi Beach.

Quiet, spacious and private rooms which are an easy walk to the beach. Beautiful roses and plants in the garden and friendly, helpful hosts. Good heat pump and everything we needed.

The place is gorgeous and we were well looked after by the host. The room we booked wasn't available but the host upgraded us to the main house which was a much bigger room. The host is the loveliest lady and an exceptional cook!
