I realy do like about everything in this hotel. Room was clean, good size and had a minibar and aircondition. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast. Hotel had tennic court just you need to had your own stuff, gym and sunna and all were free of charge. Nice pool and great environment for relaxing. A little far from city center of Coimbra but I wanted to relaxing and during my stay I didn’t go anywhere and hotel had everything that we satisfied of our stay.

Oslo is a family-run hotel situated 50 meters from the station with views over the city and its historical University. It offers recently renovated rooms with free Wi-Fi.

The front desk was open 24h and were super helpful and at the end of the stay they gave us a tradicional cake from Coimbra!

NH has found the right concept. They understand what guests require: a slightly larger room, good soundproofing, a large bed, a large showerhead, and sockets to recharge mobile phones. There’s plenty of choice at breakfast, a spacious car park, and it’s near public transport. A tip: buses 103 and 28 take you directly to Universidade from the bus stop Arnado. Dona Ines’ story is also worth reading.

Hotel Coimbra Aeminium, Affiliated by Meliá enjoys a hill-top location in Coimbra, just 100 metres away from the University Hospitals. The hotel bar features live music once a week.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and very pleasant. They have a parking for a fee (7 euros if i recall correctly) but there is also free parking on the weekends in a parking lot outside. The room was huge, spacious, clean (I wasn’t afraid to walk around without shoes or socks!), the beds are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The staff was very nice and welcoming, including the waiting staff at the restaurant during breakfast and dinner.

With panoramic views over the city of Coimbra, the Hotel D. Luís is located just a few minutes from the city centre.

Everything was clean, staff is very friendly. The restaurant, although not included, has very tasty meals with a relatively average price.

Jantesta Guest House is 5 km from Coimbra city centre and offers an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. It offers a 24-hour reception and an airport shuttle service.

the room were spacious, with air conditioning, Tv. The bed extremely comfortable with nice pillows! had a nice bath with shower overhead. the Residential is a traditional home, the owners Sr Gabriel and Dona Augusta were so kind and welcoming! one can use a kitchen to cook with all facilities with extra small amount of 5 euros per day. beautiful views to The Valleys, nice swimming pool and games room! only 10 minutes driving to Coimbra wuth options for bus and Uber as well. I can’t recommend more if you are staying around Coimbra/Pombal!
