The Curral D Avó is a beautiful boutique style hotel with a long history and.is set in a beautiful village location. It is a combination of traditional and modern. The room was large and spacious with very comfy beds and a brilliant shower. Maria, the owner could not have done more for us. This is a truly great place to stay and I would definitely stay again. Very highly recommended

We came to Casa D’Augusta during Easter Break and our stay was amazing. The location is great as it is close to many of the main lookouts and routes at the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. The house, room and bathroom were amazing. Gloria is an excellent host and is always available if you need anything. The breakfast was delicious and we always ended up full after eating. The common areas are very nice too, and there is always snacks provided such as fruit and homemade sweets.

Set in the International Douro Natural Park, Puial de I Douro is located in Aldeia Nova, a 5-minute drive from the historical city of Miranda do Douro and the Spanish border.

Wonderful house in a peaceful, rural location. Attention to detail is paid by the lovely, friendly owners, who give you lots of information about things to do, places to see, viewpoints, and restaurants. The breakfast is outstanding with local and home-produced fare, and a lot of choice. Rooms are spacious, well-equipped and tastefully furnished, and you have the use of a lovely lounge and well-stocked library. The gardens are expansive, with comfortable garden furniture, and a wonderful pool.

This a lovely place to stay in Miranda do Douro. It is located in a quiet area, just few steps away from the old one, and with a lovely view to the Douro River and the rocks with its mysterious number "2". The breakfast and coffee are delicious and the owners were so kind to pack something for us for our early check-out, when we had to take a 6:30 AM bus. The family running this accommodation is very gentle and hardworking and will be available and keen to share more of the special culture of the Mirandese Plateau.
