We did enjoy our stay! When we arrived at the middle of the night in a heavy rain, María asked us: What are you doing here?? Well, I believe, we were looking for a place like yours, dear 😊 The tranquility, the nature, the hospitality - we all found there. We just wish we could stay for longer and try jacuzzi! The room was comfortable and cozy, the yard was beautiful and my husband, who's very picky when it comes to the towels for some reason, was completely content with its quality and size 😄 We felt very welcomed, oh and the breakfast was abundant 👌

If you want to feel at home and welcomed as if you were family, Herdade dos Sepol is the place to go. The peace, the beautiful countryside scenery, the amazing huge breakfast with lots of fresh food… Most importantly, the hosts really know how to spoil you with their warmth and kindness. Our room was spotless and the attention to detail that was put into everything is incredible. Batteries fully charged and we couldn't recommend it more! We are definitely coming back.

The communication with Iris was excellent before, throughout and after our stay. The property was immaculately cleaned, including the pool. Everything we could have needed at the property was there. The whole stay at the property was stress free and comfortable. We went as two coulples. The men went fishing each day at Barragem de Odivelas so us ladies entertained ourselves. There isn't much in Alfundao village, but there are small shops for essentials and pastry shops. We drove to nearby villages Beja and Alvito and had lunch and shopped in bigger supermarkets. There is a great bar with a restaurant at Barragem de Odivelas which we enjoyed. We also travelled from Alfundao to Evora for souvenirs and lunch and caught a train from Beja to Lisbon for a day trip. Overall Alfundao is a great location to access other areas and the property was great value for money.
