The room, for a hostel 'dorm', was excellent, because it had only my bed, a couple of wall hooks, a small shelf, a drawer under the bed, and a lock on the door. There's lots of comfortable seating areas outside of the rooms, on the ground storey / dining room area, and on the first storey, where the rooms are located. The common washroom / toilets were clean, though, of course, dependent on the other guests' sanitary and bathing habits. Please remember that this is a shared facility, and the noise that you make, the hair that you leave, the water that you spray all over from the shower will also be encountered by your fellow travellers. Bed was firm. Courteous and helpful hosts / staff. Hot water available on each storey.

We stayed for only 1 night between going to Sun Moon lake and Cingjing farm. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a rather luxurious bathroom with segregated toilet, shower and tub. The wardrobe was quite ingenious, sandwiched between the bathroom and the bedroom so it opens on either side and you can retrieve the clothes from it when changing in the bathroom. Hotel was very generous with the complimentary snacks (crackers, chips etc) and drinks (lemon tea, soft drinks, juice). The breakfast buffet has a big spread but unfortunately when we stayed, the whole town was doing a 5-day vegetarian fast as they were building a temple) so the breakfast were all vegetarian food

The staff here were amazing and friendly. The location is beyond perfect. Everything is walkable- takes less than 10 min to get to the convenience store like Family Mart & 7-11. There's also near to the public transport instantly accessible. Our room was on the 13th floor and faced the mountain and what a magnificent view it was especially at night, our room was lovely and big and very clean. The bed was comfortable and there were multiple pillow options. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the room was really well maintained.
