It had character and style. The situation looking over the harbour and near stone town was perfect. Our room looked over the swimming pool with a balcony which was lovely. The beds very comfortable too. The breakfast was second to none. I especially enjoyed the fruit selection and freshly made omelettes. We also enjoyed evening meals watching the sun set over the harbour.

The are quick to attend to your request, the place is so beautiful and it being my first time in Zanzibar, I would say they made my stay great. I didn’t really know more could have spend my entire trip there. The place so so beautiful and I love everything. Their breakfast has a large range of delicacies. Great hotel in the heart of stone town so you can move around easily. it’s not the typical Double tree, more boutiquey with traditional zanzibari/arab interior. The staff are absolutely fantastic, everyone is very helpful, friendly, smiling always and going-out of their way to help you. Few names I still remember, Cavin from the front desk, Hadeeja and Chef Alex and all the rest were so warm!
