The property is gorgeous, with great antique styling, clean and comfortable rooms, a great location outside of the chaos of Stone Town, but a 2 minute walk away, all around amazing hotel. And what made it even better was the staff, who were always incredibly friendly and very open to doing whatever necessary to make the guests feel at home, trying new recipes, etc. Absolutely recommend! Amazing historical building, decorated in a very stylish way creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. We appreciate support of Chedi from a breakfast restaurant. Fantastic sunset view and vibrant local beach next to the pool. Delicious breakfast with fresh coconut water. We are missing this place and people already.

We loved it! Really friendly staff, clean hotel, great location! Coctails and food in restaurant delicious, even our spoiled children enjoyed it! You can leave your luggage after check-out if you want. And the cats, we loved them!
