The location was perfect, with access to restaurants and the walkways. The room was a decent size with comfortable beds. The parking arrangements were very convenient too.

65onCliff is located in De Kelders, Gansbaai and all rooms have ocean views. Between June and November it’s the perfect location for land based whale watching.

What a great place! Spacious room, very nicely decorated and with everything you need. An enjoyable addition was a pretty set of candles which could be used at the balcony to create romantic atmosphere. Everything very clean, spotless sheets and towels. We felt completely spoiled. Breakfast was not only delicious but also looked like a piece of art. We had to leave early to the airport the second time so we got the best breakfast package we have ever had. A big thank you to the lovely, dedicated hosts. Our stay at 65oncliff was like cherry on a cake for our stay in South Africa. We hope to come back during the whale season!

One of the best stays in recent memory! Beautiful place, very relaxing. We stayed in lemon cottage which looked like it had the best views of all cottages. Place is amazing for young children and dogs

Whale Away Guest House is a four-star guest house facing Walkerbay and the cliff path. It is located just 5 minutes' walk from restaurants, the centre of Hermanus and 3 minutes' drive from the beach.
