Overlooking the surrounding vineyards, the 4-star hotel Weinrefugium Brolli is located 5 km from the centre of Gamlitz. The staff was incredible, they even provided some great instructions on the best hikes in the area! Stephanie and Christopher both took time to educate me on the local wines and the food they were serving. Speaking of food, the restaurant on site is top notch and deserves recognition!

I arrived late at night when there was no one at reception, but the key of the room and the check-in form were waiting for me. I could use the sauna, I was alone, it was great after a long trip. We stayed in a family room with a beautiful view overlooking the winery fields, which made the experience even more special. Our 2-year-old daughter absolutely loved the children’s room upstairs, filled with plenty of toys that kept her entertained and happy throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and really gave us a taste of the local flavors. What made it even more memorable was the warmth and kindness of the Austrian family hosting us – they were so welcoming that it truly felt like staying in a home away from home. Highly recommended for families looking for a cozy and authentic countryside experience!
