Very nice, new apartment just outside of Puerto Montt. It has a kitchen, balcony, two bathrooms, closet room and a parking spot although we didn't use it since parking in front of the building was safe and more convenient. There are a few nice restaurants and cafes around. If you have a car it's a good location for the trips to the surrouding areas since you usually don't have drive through the city.

Amazing views of the lake, the rooms were clean and cozy and the hosts were gracious in helping us find recommendations for the area. Would highly recommend this place if in the area. The hosts made dinner each night and it was some of the best food we had on Carretera Austral!

Perfect stay from the point of contact with the owner to departure. Absolutely stunning location and a lovely accommodation. Good veget options for breakfast and lovely staff. I hope to return again. A credit to the owner a d staff for the experience provided. One of the few places that prices without iva tax for tourists without prompting or agro. Well done!

Surrounded by a lush garden, Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers wooden cottages overlooking General Carrera Lake. Incredible location, nice (and warm) communal areas and fantstic food each night prepared by chef Venecia. Portions are huge so easy to share meals/starters/mains. On the property itself there’s an incredibly rewarding hike with some of the best views we had on our trip (but you need to walk all the way to the end!). Staff are delightful - a special mention for Belén who is the sweetest!

Patagonia is a luxurious mountain lodge set against the panoramic backdrop of the snow-capped Andes. It offers 4 exclusive suites with free Wi-Fi and balconies with views of Coyhaique Valley. Ruth and her team are doing things right. It starts with the friendly staff (and perky rescue pets) at check-in. The rooms are impeccable. High-quality matress and bedding, beautiful wood materials, very nice bathroom with walk-in shower and excellent water pressure (not always a given in this part of the country). Large picture frame windows offering views of the surrounding scenery. The grounds are well kept with a focus on endemic species of trees and plants. We had dinner at their restaurant. Again, service with a smile and really good food. Breakfast was buffet style, with cooked-to-order eggs, a selection of pastries, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fresh baked bread, fruits, juices, etc. etc. We traveled around Chile for about a month, and this was hands down our favorite place.

The location with river and mountain views is amazing. You have the most amazing view from your bed. The beds are comfortable, the room is beautifully designed, the bathroom is great. They have thought about many details that make the experience better. The hot tubs in the forest looking out onto the river were fun. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the food is delicious. It’s not too big so it’s quiet and it doesn’t feel crowded or busy - a perfect place to relax. It was worth the drive and we were very pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful and peaceful place in nature. We highly recommend it and we would go again and again.
