Karina took our clean clothes and dried them for us. Their rental is immaculate and they are the sweetest couple! Friesy told us to call him any time during the remainder of our trip if we need help anywhere in Costa Rico.

Boasting a garden and views of quiet street, Cabañas Montañas del Tenorio is a recently renovated villa situated in San Rafael, 46 km from Venado Caves. The cabin was perfect and in beautiful gardens, so many hummingbirds! The photos do not do it justice! Delicious breakfast. Iliana was very helpful. She walked us down to the river, pointing out the resident Sloth. She even got into the river to show us how deep it was before our children got in. A stunning location for a cooling swim.

Extremely friendly an dhelpfull staff and owners. Good diner and breakfast. On top, so many private walks on the property. We saw many wildlife including special frogs. To summarize, this place is a must visit.
