The pretty Pachira Lodge is located 5 minutes’ boat trip from the entrance to the lush Tortuguero National Park. Amazing place to stay. We loved the nature trail behind the hotel and seeing green turtles coming up the beach and laying their eggs was a magical experience.

The Evergreen Lodge is located amid Tortuguero National Park, and offers spacious rooms, complimentary meals, free Wi-Fi and massage services. Receptions very helpful in booking trips, organising boats, booking lunch etc. place fantastic, saw monkeys on walkways around our rooms and around pool area and other wildlife. Umbrellas provided, which was needed.

Location was one of the best locations in the town of Turtugeuro. Being beach front plus a 2 min walk to the main town was great! Breakfast served fresh eggs to order and other great food. The staff was very helpful at all hours.

With pool views, Laguna Lodge Full Board is set in Tortuguero and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Absolutely amazing unique place. Fun sitting out on the veranda watching the wildlife (we saw Parrots, Racoons, Frogs toads, spiders). Good variety of food and incredible early morning safari and turtle watching tours.

Featuring free WiFi and a garden, Cabinas Balcon del Mar Tortuguero is situated in Tortuguero, 100 metres from Tortuguero Beach. Great location. Very close to the beach and national park. Short walk to town. Hammocks to rest in outside. Quiet at night. I could hear the sound of the waves. Ask for a map of the town because at first it’s a little confusing. I think mostly locals stay here. No AC but it wasn’t needed. My room had 3 beds and a fan for each bed. The proprietor used an app to translate his Spanish into English for me. I was very pleased with this place.
