It was clean, comfortable and safe. Location was perfect (right next to the park where you can go for a run in the morning). The breakfast buffet was abundant. And most importantly, the staff were exceptionally accommodating, friendly and helpful. Everything was smooth and pleasant.

This was one of the most interesting experiences I've had with a booking.com stay. It's an indigenous community that has a small lodging for tourists. It was comfortable and sufficient in terms of the accommodations. The indigenous ladies are always walking around and love to chat with you. They speak Quichua and some speak Spanish. We were able to chat for a long time with a big group of them and learn about their culture, way of life and families. We hiked up to a hillside with one woman who showed us her cows and different crops. They cooked us their homemade meals and made us feel really welcome. It was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend. One sweet old grandma always had a little puppy following her around. It was so adorable. When we planned to leave at 4 am, one of the ladies organized a taxi for us. We didn't have enough cash left, so the woman's husband lent us some bills in exchange for a bank transfer super late at night. They continuously went out of their way to help us and show kindness. I will never forget it.
