Situated in Almagro and with Puerta de Toledo reachable within 30 km, Retiro del Teatro Almagro features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi throughout... The bed was luxurious. The shower was great. Great coffee. We saw 3 of the available rooms and all were awesome. Very big, very nicely decorated. Finishings were all good. Heating was good as well.

The Hotel Rural Casa Grande Almagro is located in the famous La Mancha province. It has a swimming pool, and all rooms have Wi-Fi and hydro-massage showers. This is a very nice hotel. The room was a good size and very quiet. The location is very central and easy to find. There is a car park close by and parking is available on the same street as the hotel. The decor is very elegant and exudes an air of luxury. The swimming pool is of a good size and is very pleasant. There is also a chillout area by the pool in the shade. Only 6 sunbeds are available, however, they are very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.

But as a result of being in the heart of an ancient city, trust your GPS to get you there as the driving streets are complicated. Gema served a great breakfast and gave me excellent suggestions for both a traditional La Mancha Menu del Dia and during the evening, where to go for Tapas, a mere 5 minutes away.

28 km from Puerta de Toledo, IBSEN Almagro is a recently renovated property located in Almagro and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Everything was super clean. The place was almost brand new, didn’t have any problems with it. The owner was really responsive and nice. Definitely suggest this place to others, you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful place to stay and perfect recommendations for places to eat. We only stayed one night as we were travelling from Portugal back to France but this was an ideal stop-over for us.
