I spent a two nights in a 244 euros a night hotel in Bordeaux earlier this month and this Kyriad was a better experience room wise - and parking was free as opposed to an additional 60 euros. I did not eat in the restaurant but it looked comfortable and the menu was appealing. I did not have breakfast but will next time as they serve a full English breakfast.

Staff service was exceptional, they were so helpful in getting us to the parking, through the check in to the rooms, and always with a smile! The room was great, spacious and with a massive tv. The Serra Boutique Hotel is quite new. We were told by a staff member that the hotel was less than a year old and the bar had only been completed within the last 9 months. The staff was very welcoming and during our stay proved to be very knowledgeable about the hotel and very professional. One small thing that I really appreciated about the hotel was that my phone was immediately connected to WiFi when I walked in the hotel. I didn’t need to sign-in or anything. The terms beautiful and tasteful apply to the whole hotel. While the bar is somewhat flamboyant with its lime and fuchsia upholstered furniture. The restaurant has more of a Moorish feel with clay tiles creating a decorative pattern on the walls. The hotel rooms while of a minimalist decor do not detract at all from the comfort of the guests. There is everything you could possibly want in a hotel room from a work area to a separate area to put on makeup and do your hair. I was so fascinated by the decor of the hotel, that I kept taking photos to share with family and friends. Regarding food and drink, the bar has a somewhat limited but well curated list. How many bars can provide a glass of Jurançon wine? The breakfast buffet had any type of breakfast you could wish for; ham and cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon, cereal, pastries, etc. Dinner was also a buffet with both hot and cold choices.
