There is so much to see and explore in the area. Add to that the warm hospitality of Martine and Rudi—who speak French, perfect English, and some Dutch—and you quickly realize there’s no better place to be.

We stayed at Gîte Anna for 9 days with our son, and had a friend come over for a few days to share in the holiday spirit. A very comfortable, fully equipped house, without being over the top: everything you need to live and relax, a nice modernized kitchen (I think the picture shows a previous setup), thick walls, and lots of space. The nearest Boulangerie is just 2 km away, a small supermarket too, with lots of woodland, villages and gorgeous views nearby. Very welcoming and hospitable host, lots of privacy - we enjoyed every minute.

Hôtel Le Château Fort is a unique medieval fortress located in Sedan. It offers soundproofed rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, cable TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Was a unique experience to stay in the top of a castle. Our room had a door that opened onto the ramparts allowing us to walk around in the evening. It was off season so hardly any other guests there. Restaurant and bar were closed but a short drive put us at a recommended restaurant. The room was modern and comfy and quiet.

Set just 41 km from Les Hautes Promenades, L'Entrepotes offers accommodation in Rethel with access to a terrace, a bar, as well as luggage storage space. Pleasant and friendly arrival by the host. The room was perfect, the shower very nice and modern. Loved it! Also the bar downstairs which closes around 20.00 depending on the customers is perfect. A lot of different beers on the bottle. No noise at night.

The apartment is located at the Maas riverside, very central in Givet. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a small supermarket only 100 m away. The living room and the two bedrooms are comfortable.
