The house are grounds were beautiful with welcoming festive decorations, our room was magnificent, historic defied and detail, very comfortable and warm, with spacious proportions and outlook over the back gardens, the La Rotonde bar and winter garden stunning place for cosy aperitif each night and where we enjoyed a quality glass of champagne on arrival which the staff kindly welcomed us with on arrival. The breakfast was wonderful - served to your table with really good variety of cold and warm dishes. Beautiful fresh pastries and bread each day baked on the property. The property is literally across the road of both Veuve Cliquot and Pommery champagne houses and a pleasant walk into the town centre. Easy drive to Epernay and Hautvilleur. Great Brasserie on site also! We can’t wait to revisit!!

We absolutely loved this place. The accommodations are great: new construction, everything works right. Great sleeping situation: very comfortable bed, dark and quiet room. The shower is excellent. There is pride of ownership and the place is kept very clean. Speaking of ownership, the owners are very nice. They made the breakfast for us the two days we stayed. There was a pleasant amount of interaction with fellow guests at breakfast, along with the owners, talking about great things like travel and champagne. Speaking of champagne, the whole tasting thing works differently in France than in the US. Out on a Sunday drive wanting to do a tasting? Non. Want to do some drinking at 9am on a Tuesday morning? Oui. Wineries here have hours like what your city government office would back home. And reservations are key, which can be a challenge if your French is limited. Staying here, at a production facility, makes it a lot easier and if all else fails, they have bottles in an honor fridge.

The accommodation was modern, comfortable and clean with a beautiful outlook onto the woods. Our hosts were exceptional. They welcomed us and reserved dinner for us in a beautiful local French restaurant. They then drove us to the restaurant and brought us home. Sebastian and Engeliqua showed great hospitality and generosity during our stay. Breakfast was also good.
