Hotel Le Saint Gelais is offering accommodation in Angoulême. This 4-star hotel offers free WiFi. Guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Location is great, easy walk to town center. Pool was nice as well, extra points for conditioning which was very nice ( and also not common ) considering the extremely hot weather. Receptionist was very nice and patient ( I speak very little French ) and was accommodating.

Located in the heart of Cognac, Hôtel Quai des Pontis is on the banks of the Charente River. Staff were really really nice and very helpful. We had a delay and were going to be late and they sent us all information to check in and left us the keys inside our room. Breakfast was good and the location of the property is really good.
