This property was top notch in every category, Comfort and space, amenities, and the VIEW!!! The location was perfect for us! We were just minutes from the Quirang Walk, Old Man of Storr, and other gorgeous viewpoints on the northern part of the isle. Staffin has two small grocery stores. The Hungry Gull is a popular place for take away or eat in breakfast and lunch. If Portree is on your itinerary, it is only a 30 min drive. The hostess was welcoming, offered helpful tips, and suggested places to visit that we hadn’t been aware of. Don’t hesitate to book this incredible gem!!! If we get the chance to return, we are definitely booking here again.

It‘s a great way to combine an overnight stay with a whisky tasting and distillery tour. The 3-course dinner menu at the hotel restaurant as well as the breakfast were delicious. We stayed in room 5 which I guess is the smallest but it has all what‘s required for a short stopover… The tasting and distillery tour is for obernight guests free, which we did’t know at first but the hotel refunded the prebooked tours… the staff and tour guide were very passionate and friendly. It was a hreat experience! We would recommend it to everyone travelling around isle of skye…

Kinloch Lodge Hotel and Restaurant is a family-run former 17th-century hunting lodge, situated at the foot of a long private drive up Kinloch Hill on the shoreline of Loch Na Dal. the venue and the whole lodge are amazing! located in the south of the Skye Island a bit far from all the amenities of the north but also from the confusion of the tourist. The suite is really large and beautiful! Dinner and breakfast are simply excellent!

The property is exceptional and just a short 5 minute drive from portree. It is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. A large walk in shower with plenty of hot water. Modern Bosch appliances in the kitchen. The sheep and the back yard picnic table were a lovely treat.
