Set in Avebury, 15 km from Lydiard Park, Elderbrook House offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We stayed at Elderbrook House for a quick visit to the Avebury stones. We were welcomed and shown to our room even though we turned up well before check-in time. The proprietors are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was filling and delicious. The property is only a few miles from Avebury. There aren't many accommodation options close to the stones so it is nice that this one is a gem. Would recommend.

I came to stay because James May showed off his newly co-owned pub on YouTube. I knew immediately it would be a pleasant stay, but in reality it was even better. There was not a single thing out of order. The food was wonderful, the staff friendly and the room very comfortable. I felt very welkome from start to finish. The pub itself is situated in beautiful countryside with many places to explore. If I get the chance, I will definitely come back to this lovely place.

Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and... 2nd visit to this wonderful establishment. It's just a great relaxing place to stay. It's just outside Salisbury but still convenient. Locally you have the wonderful Wilton House which is well worth a visit. The food is excellent and highly recommended.
