From the first moment on we felt like home. Delicious breakfast and very comfortable room! We did a funeral ceremony with Yansen, who also showed us some traditional Torajan places which was fantastic. We also rented a scooter with him. His wife cooks great food and the views from the terrace are very peaceful. We recommend 100% staying here and would love to come back someday!

Junior Suite - this Mercure property has all the hallmarks you would expect from this hotel chain - the room was exceptionally well appointed (more akin 5-star - with all complimentary benefits) - large/clean/modern - the hotel has excellent room service food, an above average breakfast, a pool & gym - but the real plus of this hotel is the staff (all the staff !!) - we genuinely felt they had the guests best interests at heart (and not just for a good rating !!) - we very rarely name names but the two managers Ari and Joko were by far the best we have encountered in Indonesia

Situated in Makassar in the South Sulawesi Region, 50 km from Malino, Swiss-Belhotel Makassar features an outdoor pool, a spa centre and a 24-hour front desk. The location is a bit far from the tourist spots, but it’s perfect for first-time visitors. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay so wonderful, especially the trainee staff, Antonia and Anita😍
