Perhaps i hadnt paid enough attention when i reserved, but i didnt realize it had a full kitchen and a stocked pantry with breakfast items ! Donna was a great hostess. The location was close to city, center, but rural and secluded along the river.

With free parking and free WiFi, this stylish hotel is located on Kilkenny's ring road, a 20-minute walk from Kilkenny city centre. We arrived down from Dublin airport after a delayed flight as the restaurant was closing - the receptionist Savio (?) voluntarily went and asked the kitchen staff if they would delay finishing so we could be served, they did and we were able to enjoy a great meal. Johnny the waiter was also very helpful and obliging, The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The mattress and pillows were also very comfortable. There was an extensive selection at breakfast to choose from with good coffee. Checkout was quick and friendly. Wonderful staff and a comfortable stay.

The 4-star Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel is situated right in the heart of medieval city of Kilkenny. The property is only 2 minute's walk from main street, restaurants, shops and Kilkenny Castle. Room was great. Bunk beds for the kids were a nice surprise.

The Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny is a luxurious 4-star, family-run establishment nestled within 25 acres of parkland, just a short distance from Kilkenny City. Top notch breakfast, great beds, great spa and weight room. Was thankful to have parking on site, as some places in Ireland are incredibly hard to squeeze into.
