The award-winning Killaran House is located within a few minutes’ walk from Killarney city centre, bus and train stations. Everything about Killaran house was exceptional from beginning to end, from checking in to checking out. Breda the host was truly amazing. She was professional, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable when it came to seek on advice on places to eat. The location of the Killaran House was so central, within a few minutes of walking distance of central town and plenty of parking on the property. The family room was spacious, bright, airy and a pure delight, better than any hotel room. Tea and coffee making facilities available 24/7, as well as toiletries if you should forget anything. Definitely my family and I will be staying again with Breda on our next trip to Ireland. 7 stars 🌟 without hesitation. Nestled on the shores of Loch Lein, The Lake Hotel has magnificent mountain views. Just 2km from Killarney, a restaurant and the hotel has en suite rooms. An amazing hotel, located on a lake affording views that are beautiful and ever changing as the day progresses. Room had both an amazing view and was beyond spacious. We wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is close to all the main visit areas for Killarney and is on the Ring of Kerry route for those wishing to drive the route themselves as we did. Breakfast was comprehensive and well executed. For those driving hybrid or electric cars, the hotel has four fast charge parking bays, but you will need the right cable.

The size and furnishings of the room are charming. Comfortable bed. The lounge is very beautiful. Breakfast was nicely presented, delicious, and plentiful. Friendly staff. Excellent location.
