Residence Hotel Takayama Station is situated conveniently in the centre of Takayama, and offers a fitness centre, free WiFi and a terrace. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in in Japan, this one is by far the best. The room is very clean and fragrant, and has complete amenities in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It even has a washing machine that is easy to use. I also love the balcony - it has a great view of the train station. The staff are really nice. They communicate and respond well to questions. They even offered me extra bottled water when I requested for more. One of them also helped me with my luggage delivery even though he was on his break. The hotel is in a perfect location, just beside the bus/train station. There’s a FamilyMart nearby and everything is a short walking distance away. I really got my money’s worth. I would definitely stay here again! I had a lovely time.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! Everything was 10/10, from location, beautiful design of the hotel, kindness of the staff, cleanliness, everything!

Featuring mountain views, Guest House Hinode offers accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge, around 2.6 km from Takayama Station. The room was spacious, the facilities were clean, and the living room was so cozy! There were many thoughtful features available to make our stay more homey as well, from snacks to toiletries, to Netflix. Our host was so kind and very helpful!

A recently renovated ryokan in Gero and within 1.1 km of Gero Station, Suihoen features an open-air bath, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. • Room : was VERY wide, long entrance, 2 toilets, a wide room with a dining table, TV and massage chair (also did not use both), small kitchen with drinks in fridge, one large tatami room, spacious bedroom with two double beds. You also have triple mirrors in multiple places and almost all the windows have insect net, window and wooden covers. • Onsen : Two private onsen baths large enough to fit at least 2, maybe 3 people. The temperature is perfect! (Very warm but not to the point where you feel like burning when you get in. The onsen inside is next to the shower, and rhe one outside has a very nice view on the town and the mountains. • Food : Dinner was Kaiseki (traditionnal japanese way of serving the food in courses in the room) and lasted about two hours with many different things ; seafood, meat, vegetables, soup, etc. If you're vegetarian or dislike seafood (there's quite a lot), I'd say fhere's still enough of other things to surely fill your stomach. For breakfast, see the picture (includes everything). • Service : Amazing, very polite and help you with whatever they can.

Staying with Hiromi,Aki, and Coco was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Takayama itself is such a magical place, full of charm, history, and warmth — and our experience was made even better thanks to our wonderful hosts. Hiromi went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was so thoughtful and kind, helping us book dinner experiences and offering amazing local recommendations that we never would have found on our own. You can really feel how much care she puts into every detail, and it made us feel completely at home. Such a beautiful home and perfect location! In the heart of Takayama, set within a short distance of Takayama Station and Yoshijima Heritage House, 2024 Renovation house hanasaki offers free WiFi, air conditioning and household amenities such... The owner was super responsive. I have absolutely zero complaints about the accommodation. Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect for walks into the old town, Miyagawa morning market, Takayama Jinya etc. The owner also operates a coin laundry just next door. With state of the art washing machines, it was super convenient.

Situated in Ena, 1.2 km from Ōi and 7.3 km from Enakyo Wonderland, 恵那駅前おやど features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Very big and clean place. All what we needed was onsite.
