It was a great stay for both me and my wife. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that plans to visit Tokyo. The breakfasts were probably the best we had in Japan, exceeding some 5 stars hotels from international brands. One time we also took the lunch and it was delicious, although maybe a bit on the expensive side. The train station was just 2 minutes away, and we reached the major Tokyo attractions within <1 hour, and the beautiful harbor in Yokohama in just 30 minutes. Haneda airport was also easily accessible, with a direct train departing from a station within 10 minutes walk.

Wonderful hotel with excellent infrastructure, service, food and quality rooms! I had a great time and wish I had planned for more days to enjoy the hotel fully and get to know the beautiful surroundings. They offered a full dinning and breakfast experience that was unforgettable and top notch!

Situated right in front of Yamashita Park and looking out to the Yokohama Bay, Hotel New Grand is a renowned classic hotel with nearly a century of first-class hospitality. "It was a true pleasure to stay at this magnificent hotel. The grand architecture allows you to feel the rich history of the property. The service was impeccable. We stayed in a room with a view of the bay and the vista was stunning. We also visited the main wing, where we sat and admired the beautiful trees of Yamashita Park, an unforgettable experience. We savored a delicious Japanese-style breakfast, beautifully presented, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location couldn’t be better, with views of the bay and the Yamashita Park, and just minutes from Minatomirai, Motomachi, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, Yokohama Museum of Art, Chinatown, among other attractions. We spent three unforgettable days at this hotel and are truly grateful for the experience.

The reception staff were very pleasant, always had a smile on their faces when we arrived. Yamakawa and Tsuchiya communicated with us well in English, helped us with check in/check out and reservation of a Japanese restaurant which only spoke Japanese. Exceptional and professional service from the both of them as first point of contact and representatives of the hotel! Thank you for making our stay smooth!
