They were incredibly welcoming, warm, and without a doubt the most kind and adorable people we’ve met in Japan so far. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. She bought chocolates for my kids and showed us how to operate the washer, stove and aircon heaters. Big spacious and clean 2-level house. Mt Fuji is around the corner and can be seen at location. Good base to explore the Mt Fuji area and lakes.

20 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Garden Shed is a recently renovated property located in Yamanakako and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site. The most beautiful property I've ever stayed in. Truly gorgeous architecture, build quality, comfort, and hospitality. The absolute highlight of my trip. I would come back to Japan just to stay at this property again. Felt like home. Or what home could be.
