Peal mara was excellent! super friendly staff, responsive, polite, helpful. The tent was luxurious, clean, comfortable, safe! There were people walking us back and forth in case wildlife appears in the way. Sunset and sunset views were also top. The people working there are always available to accommodate your every need. The whole place is built in respect to the surrounding nature. The safari driver, Sietoti, and Rachel, a trainee, were experienced and educated, and was able to identify every corner of Maasai Mara and provide rich information about nature and wildlife during our daily safari game drives. A truly amazing duo who made our trip unforgettable. They really took care of us. Also, the food was delicious, chef was excellent! I would definitely go back again!

We would especially like to thank: Felix, our safari guide — calm, deeply experienced, and one of the best in his field. He made every game drive feel personal and insightful. Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. This was our very first visit to Kenya, and choosing Drunken Elephant Mara turned out to be the best decision we made! Right from the start, their coordination and hospitality were exceptional. As I was traveling with my family, including our 5-year-old daughter, I had many questions around logistics, bookings, and safety. Every query was answered promptly and patiently, which gave me great confidence and peace of mind. A big thank you to the amazing staff – especially Henry, our courteous and reliable chauffeur, and William, our knowledgeable safari guide and driver, who made our wildlife experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious – every meal was a treat! The location is perfect – just 5 minutes away from the Sekenani Gate – and the entire property felt completely secure and family-friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smooth, warm, and memorable safari experience in the heart of the Masai Mara. We can’t wait to return!

My husband and I visited for our 2nd anniversary and it was amazing. The safaris were amazing, the camp is located on a private conservancy, so the game viewing is exceptional. We saw a wide variety of animals, including all the big five (except the elusive leopard). Reuben was our guide and he was great, so knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly! The tents were great as well, I loved being woken up by the hippos at dawn. Caleb took care of our tent and made sure we were very comfortable throughout. The masseuse at the Spa was amazing as well, got a great deep tissue massage after a long day out on the Mara. We loved the food, they had a wide range of options to suit all palettes, Francis took care of us during meals throughout our stay, he was excellent. We unfortunately didn’t pack any warm clothes, (we didn’t expect it to be as cold as it was) but there were blankets in all the game drive vehicles and they were a life saver! Caleb also warmed up our bed with a hot water bottle every night.

Mr. Jeyakumar, Mr. Munees and Arun took care of every detail, from airport transfers to safari arrangements, ensuring that we had a stress-free vacation. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the hospitality at the camp was exceptional. Arun made us feel right at home with his warm and genuine welcome. The organization of the camp was flawless, providing us with delicious meals, a safe environment, and a top-notch safari vehicle for our daily adventures. Speaking of meals, the culinary offerings at the resort were outstanding. They catered to our specific dietary needs and every dish was a delightful fusion of local and international flavors. If you're Indian, you'll definitely love the Masala Dosa, Phulka, and Butter Chicken - they were absolutely delicious! But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the safari experience. As an amateur wildlife photographer, I was thrilled with the expertise of our guides, Benson and Simat. They not only ensured our safety but also provided us with valuable insights and thrilling encounters with the wildlife. They understood the needs of a photographer and positioned the safari vehicle perfectly to capture those breathtaking moments. They even went the extra mile by providing a bed in the vehicle for my comfort, as I was experiencing back pain from all the photography. Overall, our stay at the Lorian was truly unforgettable. The attention to detail, the warm hospitality, and the incredible safari experience made it a trip of a lifetime. We can't wait to visit again!
