The room was very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated in a unique hobbit-style design that makes you feel like you’re in a little hidden paradise. The garden area and pool are well maintained, and it’s such a nice spot to relax, read a book, or enjoy a quiet evening. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything needed. They made sure everything was comfortable during my stay. The location is also great — just a few minutes away from the beach, so you can enjoy both nature and the sea. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay. Quiet and peaceful, located a few minutes from the beach! Don was incredibly friendly and showed us the beach and the turtle sanctuary! Clean and big space, lovely garden where we got Sri Lankan breakfast! Highly recommended! :)

We liked the unique accommodation in the middle of nature and close to the lake. The hosts are very welcoming and helped us with the transfer and with the organization of a safari and a trip to the lake. The food prepared by the host was excellent. The cottage is located in a garden where we saw many beautifully colored birds. We loved hearing the birdsong in the morning! We felt very good here! Thank you!

The host was very welcoming and received us with wood apple juice. The room was exactly as described, with a good AC working perfectly and hot shower. The room was spacious, the breakfast was good and enough to start the day. For the day with the safari, the host provided breakfast when getting back, which was very nice. The homemade dinner was very tasty and abundant. Also the host helped us to take the bus nearby the accommodation. Highly recommended if you go to Tissa and want a peaceful place to stay. The only minus could be that WiFi works well outside, in the room the signal is weak.
