This is the most fantastic place built around the trees and natural habitat on the outskirts of Yala national park. Everything was provided, the food was incredible and we were given a trip to the fishing village on the beach for sunset in their buggy with Suraj and Tilina. It was like a mini safari. We saw crocodiles, deer, tortoises wild boar and on the beach the boys showed us where the elephants had been earlier in the day, footprints still showing in the sand. Suraj and Tilina were both young but so knowledgeable and friendly. They provided us breakfast at 4am for our Yala safari and we can't thank them, and the manager enough for making us so welcome. Will definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

EVERYTHING - Manu and his wife Shishi and the house dogs were the best! we felt at home, Manu went fishing and cooked us fresh crabs, shrimps, fish more than we can eat at a very fair price. he also went fishing in the next morning again and cooked us fresh lobsters in the morning free of charge because he didnt have lobsters the night before. he is just too kind and giving. we played card games all night as a family:) rooms are clean and beds are comfy. also hot shower! dont leave this place without eating the seafood!

Thank you for the beautiful house! There are many different beautiful animals and birds around. The house was clean, the shower worked well, the breakfast was very tasty. Very good location, near a beautiful beach, where there are not many people, quiet and peaceful. The owner of the house will always be remembered as a very nice man, he took us everywhere we needed and helped us with everything. He tried very hard to make everything good. He was happy to tell interesting facts about Sri Lanka and answered all the questions. We also took advantage of the tour he offered which was excellent! A truly great person!

The staff are great, property is just beautiful and I loved the location. Beach is rocky so unfortunately you can’t swim directly off the hotel beach and the rooms to the side aren’t large, but this doesn’t detract from the experience. Breakfast was great. We didn’t dine in for dinner as we wanted to try the local fish restaurant at the next beach.

So far it has been my best stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts were very kind, I got to fish in the lake for a few hours and we ate some of the fish for dinner after. They helped arrange a Safari for me. I only wish I stayed longer but was running short on time to squeeze in a few more towns before I leave Sri Lanka. I forgot a shirt that was gifted to me in the room and the family is sending to me in the next town over, very kind of them as the item hold a lot of sentimental value. Anyone looking for a quiet nature area where you can observe many birds and aquatic wildlife will absolutely love this place!

The perfect place for everyone seeking to stay in Tangalle. Beautiful hotel right on the beach and surrounded by palm trees. Originally we booked a standard room but we got upgraded to the pent house suite, which was the most beautiful tree house and was a very pleasant surprise. The staff is as wonderful as the food and drinks here. Especially the breakfast was genius, as you could order what you’d like to eat and every day you would get a different local surprise dish additionally. I can just deeply recommend to stay at this wonderful little oasis.
