This was our second visit to Mailagama Cinnamon Residence and we were truly happy to see again the owners of the hotel, Indira and her husband. The hotel is located in a picturesque place among green rice fields. We loved walking around the area - there are large lakes nearby, and there are few people around, but an incredible number of peacocks. A real kingdom of peacocks. The room was clean and spacious, with a balcony with a great view. There was also a big shared terrace to work online or to do yoga. The fans helped to cope with the heat, which was important for us. We really liked the Srilankan food at the hotel - delicious and served with great elegance. Manager Inbaraj was always attentive and helped us with any questions. On his advice, we visited two temples - Rock Temple where you can see dozens of funny monkeys and Kataragama Maha Devalaya. Both places are interesting and atmospheric, especially the latter, which is famous for its festivals throughout the country. We hope to come back here next year to see the beauty of the nature and to feel the special friendly atmosphere.

La chambre immense et très agreable avec une saĺle de bain avec une bonne pression, un sèche cheveux et tout le nécessaire. L'hôte qui était très gentille et qui est venue discuter avec nous. La piscine et les jeux pour enfants (kapla, raquettes de badminton...)

The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely return.

After a long day of travelling from Colombo to Monaragala i arrived late at night at the Grand Pearl Resort. The host was very nice and waited for me to let me check in (at 23:30) and also provided the help for arranging a tuktuk out of Monaragala town. The resort was the perfect overnight stay for myself to relax and continue my travels. Good breakfast and very helpful people, comfortable rooms.

Felt homely and comfy. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. They even went above and Beyond to cater our needs. Highly recommend.

Le Mandara Resort se trouve au sud du Sri Lanka, à environ 37 km du parc national de Yala. The room was very comfortable and situated facing the orchard (mango trees) in natural surroundings. Monkeys swinging from trees to trees was a great sight.
