The owners do everything to make you feel comfortable. They make the best breakfast and also give you free rides to town. However, I totally disagree with the people who say the view is not great. The view is great if you walk down 50 meters. You can also walk down and walk over the train tracks to Ella. This walk is one of the most amazing walks ever. You also see the waterfall and so much more. The walk takes about 20 to 30 minutes. In addition, the bed sleeps very well, and I can definitely say the price-quality ratio is good.

We ended up paying a bit extra to upgrade our room. Large comfortable bed and pillows. Good spacious bathroom and shower with hot water. Use of a sitting area adjacent the room. We had a great Sri Lankan dinner with lots of different dishes as well. Good breakfast though spicy.
